About Us
My Sake World Oike Bettei is a hands-on workshop where you customise and blend Japanese sake to suit your palate. By introducing “blending” to sake culture, we open a brand-new way to enjoy Japan’s signature drink.
Located in central Kyoto—just a few minutes’ walk from Karasuma-Oike or Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae stations—our renovated kominka, a traditional wooden house, hosts only four guests at a time. While tasting 12 carefully curated sakes, you’ll learn the history and craftsmanship behind the Sake.
From premium Daiginjo to rich aged brews, combine different styles to create your personal blend—“My Sake.”

Our Story
[My Sake World Oike Bettei] was created from our wish to share the allure of Japanese sake with as many people as possible.
Through the “Sake World” media and events, and our new e-commerce platform “Sake World NFT,” which fuses sake with NFTs, we have connected with sake lovers and breweries across Japan.
Developing and marketing our original label “Assemblage Club” revealed to us the fun, deliciousness and untapped potential of blended sake. The desire to share the joy of “crafting the one-and-only sake that is yours alone” with fellow enthusiasts is what drives us.
We want seasoned aficionados, complete beginners, and travelers seeking Japanese culture through sake alike to discover its charm—and for this place to spark an ever-growing circle of sake fans.
