Assemblage Club 01 CODE NAME : Taro', an assemblage sake developed and produced by our company and three Kyoto sake breweries (Tokubei Masuda Shoten, Kitagawa Honke, and Matsui Shuzo), won a gold medal at the "Tokyo Sake Challenge 2025" held in Tokyo, along with many other famous sake brands. Taro Dash" won the Gold Award!

Tokyo Sake Challenge 2025 is co-hosted by the SSA Sake Sommelier Association and Obsessed with Japan GK, an organization dedicated to the education and promotion of Japanese sake.

The miraculous blending that transcends breweries and crosses over opens a new chapter for sake. The high evaluation following the "Milan Sake Challenge" and "Singapore Sake Challenge 2024," which were awarded since last year, shows the new possibilities of the assemblage.

What is Tokyo Sake Challenge 2025?

The Sake Challenge, an international sake competition that has been successfully held in London, Milan, Bordeaux, Luxembourg, and Singapore, was finally held for the first time in Japan, the birthplace and center of the Japanese sake culture. A wide range of sake was entered, including not only traditional sake, but also old sake, craft sake, doburoku, and other unique and recently gaining recognition categories.
Through this competition, we aim to rediscover the depth of sake, create new trends, bring sake to more new customer segments, and raise the level of the sake brewing industry as a whole.
The "Tokyo Sake Challenge 2025" will also provide feedback in English with a view to promoting and expanding sales channels for the sake exhibited to overseas markets, encouraging Tokyo to challenge the global market.
